FAQs

  • How much is a puppy on average?
    On average, $3,000-$5,000. Prices vary depending on DNA, parents, size/structure, gender or whether the pup will be full AKC (full breeding rights) or limited AKC (no breeding rights).
  • Where are we located?
    San Antonio, Texas.
  • What does pet only mean?
    Limited registration means the dog is registered through AKC but no litters produced by that dog are eligible for AKC registration. Any puppies produced would not be have any AKC paperwork. The dog may still participate in most AKC events and titling programs.
  • What does the process look like buying a puppy from The Bully Village?
    First, you will need to fill out the inquiry questions and join our waitlist! Please click on the waitlist tab if you are interested in getting a puppy from us. Once we receive your information we will reach out and schedule a time to do a video chat or FaceTime. We will show you the puppies, puppy area and mom. And, of course answer any questions you have! If we feel it is a good fit BOTH ways then we will email you a puppy contract and 1 year health guarantee to look over, you will send a deposit and sign your portion of the contract, we will sign ours and get the puppy to you on the agreed date/ time.
  • How will I get my new puppy?
    Fly out to San Antonio to meet the Bully Village! Schedule a day and time with us after you select your puppy and we will meet you at the airport with your new puppy! OR We will personally fly the puppy out to you if you are in another state, you (the buyer) would cover the flight and pet travel costs. We do not charge a delivery fee, only flight costs and pet travel fee. If you are local (in Texas) we can arrange a date and time to meet you with your new puppy! (Within reasonable distance)
  • I don't know what to get my new puppy. Do you guys have a checklist?
    Yes! Your puppy will come with puppy care instructions, a check list, Nuvet vitamin information, AKC paperwork (full or limited), shot records! Below is the puppy checklist.
  • What does your 1 year health guarantee cover?
    1 Year Health Guarantee: Pup will have been administered initial Parvo Distemper prevention before leaving and dewormed. A series of 4 injections is recommended and varies per veterinarian. 6, 9, 12 and 15 weeks recommended. Because puppies can be easily exposed and infected with any viral illnesses such as Kennel cough, Parvo Distemper and associated viruses are NOT covered. By completing series of the 4 injections lessens risks. Please DO NOT let your puppy associate with other unknown dogs until fully vaccinated. A warm, clean and stress-free environment is always encouraged. So, no doggie parks, family reunion any unnecessary outings, pet stores, etc. This puppy is sold as visually healthy, vet checked prior to sell and the buyer is required to have a personal licensed vet check performed within 72hours to activate any and all warranty. If life threatening defect is found this must be documented by vet, and you must notify the seller immediately. Submitting a copy of exam and explanation must be sent via email to Devin Russell immediately, if seller prefers a second vet's opinion, before any refund is given, buyer shall comply with sellers' request. If both vets have same conclusions a refund of purchase price will be refunded with the safe return of puppy AND AKC papers. Shipping costs are not covered or refunded. The puppy must be returned to sellers' location local zip code 78218. If later covered issues are found, then a full refund is to be issued or a replacement puppy of same value will be issued as available. All puppies price varies to pedigree, confirmation and color. Puppy replacement within a year at maximum. This is as below with return of dog and papers in healthy condition not neglected or altered. Some of the concerns listed above are considered as breed specific ailments. IF ANY issues occur prior to sale, buyer will be notified. Any condition that is minor, correctable or a breed related condition is not covered and conditions which could resolved on its own or is considered to be a condition of which a puppy will likely grow out of is not covered. Any conditions caused by and injury after new owner's take possession is not covered. While no conditions are pleasant, bulldogs do have breed ailments. What is NOT Covered in this Guarantee: * Everted Laryngeal Saccules * Elongated palate or snares, possibly requiring surgery * Excessive skin folds * Skin allergies * Localized Demodex * Parasites * Eyes either cherry eye or entropion *Loose hips * Any number of reasons for failure to reproduce * Overheating/Heat exhaustion * Hypoglycemia * Hypoplactic Trachea What IS Covered in this Guarantee: *Heart Pulmonary Stenosis *Cancer causing loss of life directly related to cancer from genetics *Heart Defect directly limiting life expectancy *Severe Hip Dysplasia (that requires surgery to correct) *Kidney, Pancreas, Spine and Liver Problems of a severe life threatening/altering nature. *Generalized Demodex *Tracheal Atresia *Seizure Disorder If stated covered conditions occurs full extended diagnostic test showing diagnosis or autopsy report needs to be sent to Devin Russell. Results will be reviewed by seller's vet, if vet is in agreement of stated exam and said dog has been returned, a replacement puppy of stated value will be planned and issued. AT NO time is any exam, test, care or treatments covered or expressed by the seller. Also, if seller requests a 2nd vet's opinion, buyer must comply with request. If there is a sudden death or unexplained death in the puppy, buyer must have a necropsy/autopsy performed by a licensed person authorized to do so, if issue caused the death is found to be covered under this contract, then there will be a full refund or the puppy will be replaced. If puppy changes ownership at any time this warranty is VOID Any disputes must be handled in the State of Texas at buyer(s) expense. Any changes to this contract must be in writing, agreed to and signed by both parties. Buyer agrees to NOT sell this dog to any retail company or establishment. This contract is legal and may be enforced by legal means at the buyer's expense and all disputes must be settled in Texas. This is a legally binding document. In the event of legal action, buyer(s) will assume all legal cots including, but not limited to, seller's attorney's fees and legal costs.
